Interesting read over at BCC

This is an interesting post by someone sharing thoughts about disagreement with a stake president's decision to excommunicate a gay, single mormon but not excommunicate a husband who committed adultery.

thanks for the link, i liked seeing the diversity of opinion. i think the excommunicated young gay may have been done a favor. it frees him from the church, allowing him to establish a relationship that many of us can only dream about. he can continue to live a christ-like life and in so doing will earn a just reward. it may come as a shock to many [utah] mormons, but there is a life outside the church
